What is it about?

Nonlinear control strategies can improve robustness and flexibility of VTVL systems. In this work we propose a nonlinear control strategy based on sliding mode control applied to the EAGLE demonstrator. Simulations results and flight tests demonstrate the capabilities of the proposed control strategy.
