What is it about?
Direct measurements of wall shear stress have been invaluable to the Aerospace community, and Ahmic Aerospace has now extended the technology to serve the measurement needs of industries monitoring and researching liquid-based flows. Ahmic successfully demonstrated accurate wall shear measurements in the sub-10 Pascal range using a Taylor-Couette flow device.

Why is it important?
Ahmic has developed the only durable wall shear stress sensor for liquid based flows on the market today. The sensors offer a unique, simple, and non-intrusive tool for research, flow characterization, and process monitoring to industries including petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, and hydrodynamics.
