What is it about?

This is the development of a smart towing car to improve carbon neutrality and human efficiency of airports. This is the development of AMR's conceptual towing car, which utilizes ROS/Gazebo simulation to conduct research on high-fidelity virtual environment, autonomous driving, and autonomous work.

Why is it important?

We've created challenging real-world testing environments and built vehicles of proof-of-concept design to look to the future, and we're introducing a self-driving SAE Level 5 tow vehicle. Our Simulation to Real research includes the creation of a test platform to bring virtual testing into the real world.

Perspectives

Writing this paper is also the topic of my thesis, and this part of the research was done in collaboration with a Korean company that manufactures specialty work vehicles. It is more advanced now and there are many developments.
