What is it about?

The noise levels generated by supersonic transport are usually very high. This works numerically investigates the effect of realistic operating conditions of a nozzle system used to generate thrust for supersonic aerospace applications. It shows that a temperature increase in nozzle operation leads to an enhanced sound generation.
