Has been described a detailed structure of composite aluminum foams solder joints characteristic. Was proposed an innovative method for preparing the surface layer of composite, aluminium foams for welding. Also was proposed an innovative method of gluing composite aluminum foams.
Perspectives
AlSi9-SiC foams are an attractive construction material. Serious limitation of the use of AlSi9-SiC foams is the lack of joining techniques. The article describes the methods of joining foams that enable their use in the industry.
