What is it about?
Lawrence Venuti is regarded to be the most outstanding representative of the foreignising method in Translation Studies. However, many years before the Chinese translator and theorist Lu Xun developed his own foreignising translation theory. This article makes a contrastive analysis of both theorists backed by their own translations.
