What is it about?
The brown colored nature of Molasses spent wash is due to the presence of melanoidin pigment. It is a non biodegradable polymer. The study indicated that hydrogen peroxide producing enzymes from Oscillatoria boryana involved in the decolorization/degradation of melanoidin pigment from the Molasses waste water.
