Connections Between Trust in Journalism and Patterns of Media Use

The article investigates the connections between trust in journalism and media use. The authors find that the correlation between trust in journalism and media use for informative purposes is positive, but very weak. People who follow right-wing media (especially those associated with the Slovenian Democratic Party) were found to exhibit a lower level of trust in journalism. This finding indicates polarisation along partisan lines.
