What is it about?
The study involves the silencing of the MYC gene in the breast cancer cell line , MCF-7, using functionalised gold nanoparticles. This study further shows the important role of polyethyleneglycol (PEG) stabilisation in achieving high gene silencing. The study with some optimisation, has potential for clinical application.
