What is it about?
Multifunctional electrospun polyethylenimine/polyvinyl alcohol nanofibers are able to be fabricated by modification with zwitterion of PMPC via ATRP and further functionalization with RGD ligands through an acid-sensitive benzoic imine linker. By integrating the functional nanofibrous mat with a microfluidic chip, highly efficient capture and intact release of cancer cells and circulating tumor cells can be realized within 30 min, respectively, thereby providing a great potential for clinical cancer diagnosis applications.
