What is it about?
Graphene oxide owing to its high surface area, ease of functionalization and better biocompatibility have attracted scientist fraternity as a potential drug delivery vehicle for cancer therapy. On the other hand, Chloroquine being an autophagy inhibitor provides new pathways to kill cancer cells. We endeavoured to conjugate Graphene oxide and Chloroquine for antiproliferation action in A549 cells through targeting autophagy-necroptosis axis.
