Novel electrospun fibers with incorporated commensal bacteria for potential preventive treatment of the diabetic foot

What is it about?

In this study, a novel preventive approach towards treatment of the diabetic foot was developed. It is based on the re-population of our healthy bacteria on the affected skin parts, which might prevent the growth pathogenic ones, causing complications.
