What is it about?
Clinically approved Contrast Agents (CAs) for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) are mainly limited by their poor efficacy. We show how injectable hydrogels can be used to improve the efficacy of these CAs without altering their biocompatibility. Furthermore, we explain and theoretically demonstrate how hydrogel properties impact on the effectiveness of MRI CAs.
