Perspectives

One possible outcome that could be achieved is the establishment of a global computational network specifically designed to assist librarians and archivists. This network would function similarly to the currently funded "Data Curation Network" supported by the Sloan Foundation, but with a focus on facilitating collaboration among different institutions in order to effectively curate research data within digital repositories. Over a period of five years, this initiative aims to develop an innovative staffing approach that can be adopted across multiple institutions.
