What is it about?
The study finds the problems of weavers in gaining funds from formal or informal sources to start a business of traditional handloom products. It also explains different barriers in getting bank loans to flourish this business. These problems include insufficient amount of loan sanction, excessive documentation, requirement of references, inability to provide collateral, unfavorable loan policy and so on.
