The book takes the reader through the ins and outs of the American electoral process and how different parts of the United States government work. Why is it important?

What happens in the United States impacts the entire world. Unfortunately too many people both in the U.S. and abroad have minimal knowledge on how the American government works, why its states are so important and how the US has become the world's prime example of federalism. This book, written in question and answer from, allows readers a rapid yet accurate overview of the United States' election process and how a representative republic works

Perspectives

My colleague Stephen Vincent and I wrote this simple to read book as a way non-academic readers to understand the United States system of government and how the nation's leaders. We hope that young people from around the world will read it and thus be able to distinguish truth from so much of the misinformation that now circulates around the world. For this reason, we wrote this book from a non-partisan perspective.
