What is it about?

Glycogen synthase kinase-3β plays a significant role in the regulation of various pathological pathways relating to the Central Nervous System. By sequential application of in-silico tools, efforts have been attempted to design the novel GSK-3β inhibitors.

Why is it important?

CADD has been introduced as a stand lone powerful tool in the drug discovery. we have identified novel, structurally diverse glycogen synthase kinase inhibitors.

Perspectives

Writing this article was a great pleasure as it has co-authors with whom I have had long standing collaborations. This article also lead to rare disease groups contacting me and ultimately to a greater involvement in rare disease research.
