What is it about?
This paper includes the development of two HILICmethods for the determination of ESCN in ointment samples. The HILIC stationary phases with different chain lengths (ZIC2 and ZIC4) and varying the mobile phase should be used as a versatile separation tool with the advantage of activating at mixed retention modes. Hence, ESCN exhibits a mixed-mode retention hydrophilic and anion exchange with HILIC columns. The geometrical alignment of the stationary phase (ZIC4) it is giving more interaction with ESCN compared to the stationary phase (ZIC2). In ointment samples, the developed procedures were successfully used to evaluate ESCN.
