Why is it important?
Palliative care or also called supportive care is essential in the management of cancer patients. It has been shown that palliative care can provide significant quality of life benefit for cancer patients in the journey of their management. The present review article provided expert opinions and insights of palliative care in three different regions of the world : Asia ( Hong Kong, China), Europe (France) and North America (Canada). Readers will appreciate the difference in view points of palliation in the above mentioned regions with various cultural background of the population and their corresponding health care supports.
