What is it about?

Why is it important?

As regarding the relationship among DSQIID and the demographic and clinical confounds, not investigated in the previous studies, findings support the clinical validity of DSQIID-I. Its score (Q2 & Q3) always appeared to be independent of gender, living conditions and most importantly of the severity of ID, at least in this study sample

Perspectives

We believe that the DSQIID-I represents an important starting point for a proactive and person and family centered approach to care for individuals with ID and dementia in Italy.
