Why is it important?

Magnetic Nanoparticles have found widespread use as contrast agents in imaging modalities, as tools for bio-sensing and as theranostics agents.

Perspectives

Few magnetic nano-particle products are approved by U.S FDA and many are under clinical trials. Hence, current knowledge and future prospects of these nanoparticles can provide a better understanding and to develop new combinations which can withstand the clinical settings in near future.
