What is it about?

MicroRNAs (miRNAs), a type of small non-coding RNAs, predominantly control the expression of their target mRNAs to exert their functions. However, what is their precise role in the mechanism of depression? This article elucidates the links between miRNA and depression.

With a clear linkage exiting between miRNAs and depression, we realised more studies, nevertheless, are needed to ascertain the complete mechanism of depression.

Perspectives

It is our hope that our article forms the basis of future studies that would be taking place pertaining to this area of study. Hopefully, the complete elucidation of depression would be unraveled soon.
