This paper tries to capture the emerging landscape in business analytics technologies with the main focus being to identify the potential challenges due to this emergence. New and emerging analytics technologies include hybrid data architecture, containerization, data fabric, IoT, blockchain, connected cloud, etc. Business analytics innovative technologies bring new opportunities and challenges, but not without net gain.
