I believe this paper might help those tending to believe that modern biological drugs can overshadow the indication for thiopurine in IBD: in fact, we hereby hold that as mucosal healing agents thiopurines carry more chances to behave as disease terminators that the biologics themselves, and in any case are crucial in co-administration regimes.
