What is it about?

This study presents a new way to safely store and manage large amounts of data in cloud storage systems. It uses a special kind of encryption called NTRU, which is strong enough to protect against future threats from quantum computers. The system also makes sure that only authorized users can access the data and that any access can be checked and verified. This approach helps protect sensitive information like medical records or business data stored in the cloud, making it safer and more trustworthy for everyday users.

Why is it important?

This research stands out by combining post-quantum encryption (NTRU) with a secure access control system, addressing a critical gap in current cloud storage solutions. As quantum computing grows closer to reality, many existing encryption methods like RSA and ECC may become vulnerable. Our solution is future-ready and designed for the massive scale of Big Data, making it both secure and practical. The added feature of verifiable access control ensures transparency and trust—key concerns in cloud security today. This timely innovation could help shape next-generation data protection systems for governments, businesses, and healthcare providers.

Perspectives

From my point of view, this publication represents an important step forward in making cloud storage not only more secure but also more transparent and accountable. I was particularly motivated by the rising concern around quantum computing and its potential to break widely used encryption methods. By integrating NTRU encryption with a practical access control framework, I aimed to address both current and future security challenges in a scalable way. I believe this work can serve as a foundation for more trustworthy cloud services—especially in sensitive sectors like healthcare, finance, and government—where data protection is paramount.
