What is it about?
This is about menstrual health, a part of worldwide public health and a fundamental human right. The emphasis of the study will fall on the aspects related to awareness of menstrual health. The study, which does identify the current level of knowledge on menstrual cups across demographics, would hence establish some cultural, informational, and logistical barriers to adoption. This would create an opportunity for health educators, organizations, and policymakers to run targeted educational campaigns. Creating awareness not only of the practical benefits but also of the safety and access related to menstrual cups will enable people to make informed, confident choices about their menstrual health. This study contributes to the various efforts being taken to break down stigma related to menstruation and to improve health literacy in a time when access to correct information is basic.

Why is it important?
Menstrual health is so important at many levels since it affects not only physical well-being but also emotional, psychological, and social characteristics in a person's life. The hormonal fluctuation that accompanies menstruation can affect mood, such as cases of premenstrual syndrome or premenstrual dysphoric disorder characterized by irritability, anxiety, or depression. Both the reduction of these mood swings and an improvement in mental well-being are able to be caused by the identification and treatment of menstrual health. In this sense, understanding menstruating health empowers one to be more in control and confident in self-managing the body.
