What is it about?

Explored the effect of LED duty cycle on an AOP in a laboratory-scale, slow flow reactor.

Why is it important?

While AOP rate constant is expected to increase linearly with LED duty cycle, this relationship was shown not to hold across all duty cycles. Specifically low duty cycles resulted in surprisingly high rate constants, likely due to increased availability of reactants near the LED at the time of illumination as a result of increased time for mixing between LED on cycles.
