Microalgae is an important biological agent for wastewater treatment and bio fuel production. Wastewater treatment by using Microalgae is called phycoremediation.

There a number of methods to treat waste water specifically textile wastewater but this method phycoremediation is by far very important. Because it is wastes can be biologically degraded.
