What is it about?
A number of sludge transfer stations exist in Accra, with the aim of improving the safe handling of faecal sludge. This paper considers how the actual use and management of these sludge transfers stations affects the management of faecal sludge from onsite sanitation in the city - and some of the challenges associated with that.
