What is it about?
SLE is a disease with a thousand presenting feature. We presented a girl with bilateral ascending muscular weakness ( Guillan-Barre syndrome) who did not respond to conventional treatment and with chronicity (CIDP), we performed more work-up and found the underlying disease known as systemic lupus erythematosus.

Why is it important?
We want to emphasis on a teaching point: in approach to any atypical or resistant neuropsychiatric manifestations, the physician should aware of autoimmune disorders especially SLE.
