What is it about?

Sometimes, finding the cause of hypoglycemia is so difficult that we should look for the rarest cause. Doege Potter syndrome is one of the rarest cause of hypoglycemia caused due to secretion of insulin like growth factor from tumor cells. In fact its a type of para neoplastic syndrome.

These type of case reports help physician to approach the causes of hypoglycemia in systemic way.

Perspectives

This is first case of doege potter syndrome reported from Nepal. There are very few cases reported in the world.
