What is it about?
This research article tries to assess the effectiveness of Prevention of mother-To-Child-Transmission of HIV services that were running for years. It also identifies how the patient counselling services are strong and of the one year services what number of mothers who were tested positive for HIV have turned to health facilities for an institutional delivery. It comprises both quantitative and qualitative study designs. variables significantly associated with failure of institutional delivery were addressed.

Why is it important?
It is important that every strategy we assume to be working has to be re evaluated for its effectiveness and efficiency where we can look into the quality of services we as a health sector provide. The findings in this research clearly shows that in some of the areas, the service has failed to achieve its goal.
