What is it about?
The study is about the optimized synthesis ad encapsulation of Ocimum gatissimum essential oils in polymeric matrixes notably chitosan and its quaternized derivative N, N, N-trimethyl chitosan and further reduction into their nano sizes. the nanoparticles were characterized using microscopic and spectroscopic methods. the synthesized nanoparticles were also evaluated for their in-vitro release kinetics antioxidant, antimicrobial and anticancer properties.
