What is it about?
The new bed side test uses non-anticoagulated blood but others do anticoagulated blood.

Why is it important?
The most predominantly used test at present is to measure biomarkers, especially D-dimer. But D-dimer is not useful because D-dimer cannot give subsequent suitable treatments. On the contrary the test using non-anticoagulated blood can do.
