What is it about?

This is an explorative study of the organic link between epidemiology and economics of COVID-19. A global pandemic imposes Non-Pharmaceutical Interventions [NPI] that bear economic costs. This is an exploration into such economic costs manifesting in various forms.

Why is it important?

A study of this kind is important to devise optimal policies to mitigate the impact of a pandemic in all its manifestations. Such interdisciplinary approaches are the ones that would have the best outcomes for humanity.

Perspectives

As a social scientist, COVID-19 opened up my intellectual thinking and curiosity into other scientific disciplines which has produced this interdisciplinary knowledge product.
