A set of tools to develop, edit and annotate comparative lexical datasets using the standard CLDF format. Designed for historical linguists with no programming experience.

Why is it important?
Historical linguists use big amounts of lexical data but have limited options for computer applications that could assist them in their work. CLDF is a standard format for sharing lexical data, but it is not user-friendly for editing and developing a dataset. Lexedata bridges the gap between working in a standard format while being accessible and usable by historical linguists.
