Testing environmental values scale

What is it about?

Testing environmental values scale addressing Ecocentric and Anthropocentric Attitudes toward the Sustainable Development (EAATSD) scale with Bachelor students

Why is it important?

Ecocentric orientation is associated with greater willingness to sacrifice for the environment. This study shows that students who choose sustainability courses are not necessarily more ecocentric than random group of students as they seem to associate sustainability with social and economic (as well as ecological) values. Implications for education are discussed
