What is it about?
A hopeless upper lateral incisor (1.2) was extracted without flap elevation. The alveolus had the buccal wall missing. A dental implant was placed immediately after and loaded with a temporary prosthesis. Three months later the definitive one was delivered. At four years, a crown fracture happened together with gingival inflammation aroud the implant. The crown was removed and flap elevation was performed to treat the patient. A buccal bone plate was observed to exist around the implant
