Why is it important?

There are few studies evaluating the effect of non-drug measures on anthropometric indicators, blood pressure and metabolic parameters in women in the coming months after childbirth, while there is no data on evaluating the effectiveness of physical training programs in the form of walking on cardiometabolic indicators and quality of life in the long-term aspect.

Perspectives

PA programs can be an effective tool to decrease the risk of CVD in women with a history of hypertension during pregnancy. The data we have obtained show the effectiveness of such interventions. It is extremely important to continue such studies in order to better study the optimal interventions to reduce cardiometabolic risk among this population category.
