What is it about?

The evolution can be explained only up to a certain level by means of the mathematical theory. The paper is explaining the transitions in the history of mankind using the concept of system and the mathematical theory of transition between states of a system, but it also admitting that the evolution encountered in the history nor can be explained neither be fully understood using only the mathematics

Why is it important?

The paper is important because is providing one specific way to look at the past history, is finding explanations for the transitions between states in the history but is admitting also its limits when trying to explain those transitions, the gaps encountered in the history or when dealing with predictions about future transitions

Perspectives

The paper is providing explanations regarding the evolution within a certain stage, but it is admitting also the limits of the mathematics when trying to explain a certain transition between different states or when dealing with predictions regarding the future transformations
