What is it about?
This investigation was prompted by the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic, which created very rapid changes in the bureaucratic environment. This initial study is intended to explain how the Indonesian bureaucracy responds to changes due to the pandemic.

Why is it important?
This research is important to map the common problems that occur in bureaucracies during times of crisis. The findings can be taken into consideration to find specific themes in future research.
Perspectives
Two bureaucratic models that can be experimented with as post-pandemic bureaucratic models are Innovation Bureaucracy and Post-Bureaucracy. Further research on post-bureaucracy through a constructivism approach can be done to analyse more deeply the right bureaucracy model.
