What is it about?
Myopia is more common among youngsters nowadays, both in Europe and in Hungary, than in the past. The article describes the frequency of myopia in Hungary in 1934, 1960, and now. Myopia now affects nearly 60% of Hungary's children and young people.

Why is it important?
