Why is it important?
Electric power generation by sugar cane bagasse is one of the main eco-innovations in the industry and nowadays, it represent 8% of the energy consumed in Brazil. There is great economic potential in this energy source which has motivated many investors.
Perspectives
Results show that Option Theory Real was more efficient and robust to calculate investment value at R$ 69.346 million since the volatility of energy prices were taken into account.
