What is it about?
As part of the literacy movement in the Nordics and globally, there is an uptick of news material aimed to children. However, there is only little research on the content in these media. We analyse content in Finnish news oriented media aimed for young readers, and focus particularly on the theme of diversity. Who do journalists for children's media write news for, and how, if at all, do they take into account the heterogeneity of their audience?
