Why is it important?
There was a high concordance rate for euthanasia and assisted suicide in patients with terminal diseases, if they were legal procedures in Brazil, and euthanasia had a higher rate of acceptance than assisted suicide.
Perspectives
The acceptance of the legalization of the practices of euthanasia and assisted suicide emphasizes the need to broaden the discussion in the society about the topic of the present study.
