Why is it important?

High prevalence of seizures in glioma population, comorbidity associated with seizure activity, concomitant medication such as chemotherapy, steroids, etc. Most importantly: Preserving optimal quality of life in this patients population.

Seizure management is case-by-case, always based on the overall patient's profile: age, concomitant medication, active chemotherapy, side-effects, use of a drug to treat multiple conditions limiting the # of agents, etc.
