Why is it important?

Death and dying is one of the topics that we do not teach properly in medical schools. The medical students already expressed their lack of knowledge in this topic and lack of skills to deal with patients and family properly. This pilot project used card game to teach them about the importance of death and palliative care.

Perspectives

It was a fun project. The students loved it and it made them more aware that death is not so distant and could happen to anyone, anytime. Hence, it is important to be well-prepared for the unlikely scenario.
