What is it about?
Use the fresh or stored Typha pollens grains agar (TPA in preparing natural culture medium. It doesn't need supplements and is easily prepared. Several saprophytic and dermatophytes fungi showed topical growth. I suggest using TPA in further applications.

Why is it important?
Typha is naturally growing in tropical and subtropical areas. Its pollen grains have the main nutritional requirements for fungal growth with suitable pH. It is cheap and can be used directly with agar powder.
