Why is it important?
This research article is suggesting that hydrogen behavior in GBs is not only altered by CSL-GB structures. However the near-CSL-GBs, formed during material processing, due to small angular deviations from the ideal plane of symmetry is causing a significant impact on the mechanical properties of the material, which generally is being overlooked.
