The area of southeastern Slovakia is underexplored regarding lichens and there are not many published resources on lichens.

Why is it important?
68 lichens were identified from 35 locations. From interesting findings, Cladonia crispata, Graphis scripta, Lecanora conizaeoides and Flavoparmelia caperata are discussed. Physcia leptalea is reported for the first time for the area of Slovakia.
